About Me and Why I am Running

I am happy to announce that I am running for a seat on the Democratic County Central Committee (DCCC), Assembly District 19.   When people ask me why I am running, I say to help people.  Not "the people" in the abstract form, but the people of the City I grew up with: the waiters, the hospital workers, the teachers, the builders, the day laborers, the delivery drivers, the security guards, the janitors.  All of us have gone through unnecessary hardships to live and work in San Francisco.

Motivated by my love of friends, family, and this City, I decided to step up to the plate and run for the DCCC.  Much more good can be done if compassionate people are ready to lead.  I am ready to take on this responsibility.  This is why I am asking for your support.

My message is clear: Working people are not an abstract concept, but the backbone of the Democratic Party.
